You need to activate the facebook app-you can go to manage network and then click on the facebook tab in the left column.

You were right but I had to click-in much deeper to get working then I did with Twitter. I just didn't click in far enough the first time I set Facebook up.

Does anyone know or have any any suggestions on how I can add a status update feature that allows members to respond to the updates. Ning's feature is useless without the interactive aspect.

What can anyone recommend? Having a feature like this would drastically spike traffic on our networks. Is there is third party app or script we can use????

Look at FaceBook. Their status updates is the backbone of that GIANT

I didn't realize that TJ had written script that allowed members to interact via Status update. That doesn't seem possible to me within the current platform infrastructure. But, TJ is brilliant.

My suggestion is: use the @ sign when responding to someone's Status update. It actually works quite well, psychologically. :-)

Example...

The comment of yours below.. where I can press LIKE ... NOT THE FACEBOOK LIKE... but a Like button EXCLUSIVE to our NING Networks :)
