Social Web Directory :: Social Network Directory :: Ning Tips and Ning Support
By request I shared my SimpliCITY drop down menu for Ning networks on Creators. I was asked recently via a personal message here on JenSocial to share my updated CSS which has a hover effect.
I have attached an HTML file with both the current HTML and CSS for MyAppleSpace.com
Enjoy :)

Permalink Reply by Brian Fløe on September 12, 2011 at 6:21am You have to look at the code in a program that does not attempt to display the final result. If you open the file in your browser, look at the source code rather than the browser window.
On a Mac use something like CODA.

Permalink Reply by PL Team on September 12, 2011 at 7:57pm We seem to have an issue on our live site when activating the menu, it works great except for on personal profile pages. Any thoughts?

On the test network its flawless including profile pages...
EDIT: Looks like the user will see a really really messed up navigation menu unless they go in and reset their theme to the network default and work it from there, any way to force the menu retroactively?

Permalink Reply by Brian Fløe on September 12, 2011 at 9:31pm I'm sorry I have no idea really. You'll someone more skilled in coding than myself. I found the menu on the internet, tweaked it and also had a programmer friend help me on it.
